The Exhibit

“Americanos” is an extension Baby Yors’ musical album “Americano”. This exhibit features six unique hand-painted jackets, each paired with a companion painting. The jackets, made from canvas and hand-painted by the artist, are a reflection of his immigrant experience in the United States, blending his personal history in the country with broader themes of capitalism, and the much talked about American Dream.

THE UNIVERSES INSIDE THE PAINTINGS

Red River Maria

The song, the visuals and the fashion.

Picture thousands of people sleeping naked on a highway and a red truck speeds towards them. This was a dream I had and it made me think of America. I won’t say more.

My magical friend Daniel Lismore and my song Last Cigarette

The beautiful Bridgitte embodies Penelope (My America) with her smile.

My friend and muse, actress Rose McGowan is a symbol of freedom and an American icon.
